Tribe Kelley
Tribe Kelley occupies a well-known corner at the intersection of Nashville’s famed Music Row and Hillsboro Village. Pfeffer Torode Architecture led efforts to adapt two historic structures on the property to house office and retail space while preserving the buildings’ historic character. Additions and alterations from decades past were methodically stripped away to reveal the buildings’ original forms. Through careful interventions, the historic integrity of these structures has been maintained while modernizing their functionality. The original buildings contain co-working space, a small coffee shop, a high-end clothing boutique, and a music management office. The program also includes a state-of-the-art recording studio, designed as an addition to one of the structures to accommodate stringent acoustical standards.
